High Blood Pressure Risk and Youth Society of Bangladesh
On the occasion of International Youth Day, the Youth Club of Bangladesh (YCB) – Dhaka Division participated in a webinar titled “High Blood Pressure Risk and Youth Society of Bangladesh.” The event was organized by the Advocacy and Research Organization Pragya (Knowledge for Progress) in collaboration with the Global Health Advocacy Incubator (GHAI), addressed the alarming rise of high blood pressure among young people. The seminar featured a distinguished panel of speakers who discussed the growing risks, impacts, and preventive strategies. The speakers included Dr. Geeta Rani Devi (Program Manager, CBHC), Muhammad Ruhul Quddus (Bangladesh Country Lead, GHAI), Dr. Md. Maruf Haque Khan (Assistant Professor, Public Health and Informatics, BMDU), and ABM Zubair (Executive Director, Pragya). YCB Dhaka Division was represented by Fawzia Abeda Ayshee (Finance Secretary).
The participation of these young leaders underscores the commitment of the YCB to addressing critical health issues affecting their generation.
