“One Health, One Safety”

Under the signature project “One Health, One Safety”, the Youth Club of Bangladesh (YCB) Chattogram Team collaborated with the One Health Institute , CVASU to support their programme titled “Free Community Health Checkup and Free Rabies Vaccination for Pet Animals”, organized on the occasion of World One Health Day 2025.

The event was led by the One Health Institute, CVASU (main organizer), along with the One Health Institute Communication Cell, One Health Young Voice Bangladesh, Nagorful, and the CVASU Badhan Unit. The programme was held on Friday, 29 November 2025, at the CRB area, where YCB Chattogram provided volunteer support throughout the activities.

People from different parts of Chattogram across various age groups and professions participated in the initiative. They brought their pets for free rabies vaccination and received essential health checkups and consultations for themselves.

During the programme, a token of appreciation was presented to Dr. MD Ahasanul Hoque, Director of the One Health Institute, as recognition of the collaborative effort. Expectations for continued long-term cooperation were also shared.

A team of 10 dedicated YCB Chattogram volunteers actively supported all segments of the event. With combined efforts from all partners, the campaign was successfully completed.
