Basic First Aid Training (IGSC)
The Youth Club of Bangladesh (YCB) – Dhaka Division organized a successful “Basic First Aid Training” program at the premises of Ispahani Girls’ School and College. This initiative, aligned with SDG 3, was conducted under the project Emergency Care (E-Care) and Before the Crisis (BTC).
The training program was thoughtfully divided into two sessions. The first session focused on theoretical knowledge, covering essential topics such as the importance of first aid kits, crucial actions and precautions during emergencies, and the power of small steps in saving lives. Participants gained valuable insights into these critical aspects of first aid. The second session transitioned into a practical hands-on experience, where trainers guided participants through the administration of first aid procedures. This practical session provided participants with valuable skills and confidence in applying their newly acquired knowledge.
The program concluded with a comprehensive quiz and an award ceremony, recognizing the participants’ dedication and achievements. The event was a resounding success, empowering the participants with essential first aid knowledge and skills, ultimately contributing to a safer and healthier community.
The training was led by Nabil Hasan Joy (Joint Coordinator) of Youth Club of Bangladesh, Dhaka Division, with his team.
