YCB’ian Conference 2025
On September 5, 2025, the Youth Club of Bangladesh (YCB) proudly hosted the “YCB’ian Conference 2025” at the National Archive’s Auditorium, Agargaon, Dhaka. Nearly 250 young participants from universities and colleges across Dhaka, Chattogram, and Rajshahi divisions gathered with one purpose—to learn, lead, and envision a brighter, more prosperous Bangladesh.
Founded in 2013 by a group of dream-driven students, YCB has grown from 10 founding members into a vibrant family of 850 members, completing its 12-year journey of light. Through health awareness, skill development, climate action, and community service, the organization continues to inspire change under its motto: “We can change our world.”
Session 1: Lead with Impact – Leadership through Communication
The day began with Dr. Arefin Rahman Himel (President & Co-founder of YCB) emphasizing how effective communication remains the cornerstone of meaningful leadership.
Session 2: Organizational Alchemy – Turning Structure into Success
Here, transformation took center stage with insights from Dr. Sabiha Sultana (Public Health and Food System Data Expert) Mirsad Hossain (General Manager & Head of Software Business, Smart Technologies BD Ltd.) and Mohammad Ferdaus (Coordinator, PPDM at BRAC University & CEO of CDP) Together, they showed how vision and structure can translate into sustainable success.
Session 3: Recall Your Journey – Memory with YCB
A nostalgic reflection was shared by Sanzida Zaman (General Secretary & Co-founder of YCB) who revisited the organization’s humble beginnings and celebrated the milestones of its inspiring 12-year journey.
Session 4: Career Compass – Navigate Your Path to Success
Guidance for tomorrow’s professionals came from Zia Uddin Mahmud (COO, Creative Business Group), Chowdhury Noor A Sunny (GM & Head of Operation, Healthcare Life Science Ltd.), Muhammad Zahid Al Beruni (DGM & Head of Operation, Healthcare Life Science Ltd.), and Akhter Jahan Bithi (Performance Development Manager, Nestlé Bangladesh). Their collective wisdom offered the youth a compass to steer their careers with clarity and confidence.
Session 5: Captivate the Crowd – Engage, Inspire, Persuade
Conducted by K M Hasan Ripon (Executive Director, Skill & Employment Ecosystem, Daffodil Group) this session explored the art of inspiring audiences—teaching how words, when delivered with passion, can move people and create lasting impact.
Session 6: Celebrating Our Journey
The conference concluded with a celebration of YCB’s 12-year legacy. Esteemed guests included Prof. Fatima Suriya (Former Principal, Govt. College of Applied Human Science & Akij College of Home Economics), Muzahid Al Beruni Suzon (Director, Smart Technologies BD Ltd.), Dr. A. K. M. Ekramul Hossain (Executive Director, Bangladesh Thalassemia Samity Hospital), Kobita Bose (Country Director, Plan International Bangladesh), Khaled Faisal Rahman (Deputy Director, BRTC & Chartered President, Rotary Club of Gulshan-1), and Abdullah Hasan (PR Consultant & CEO, Media Mix Communication). Their presence and reflections added honour and inspiration to the occasion, making the closing ceremony a memorable tribute to YCB’s journey.
Throughout the day, speakers and guests echoed one resounding truth: the future of Bangladesh rests on the shoulders of its youth. With skills, leadership, values, and vision, young people can spark the changes that lead to harmony, prosperity, and hope for generations to come.
